چکیده
Abstract This paper evaluates the performance of a subsurface flow constructed wetland at Worms Germany used for treatment black and grey water from non-residential facility. Snap samples four wells made up clarifying unit, an activated carbon unit aeration were analysed insitu using HACH HQ40d multimeter exsitu Sensafe metals check strips preliminary metal detection onsite. bar code reagents, Digital Reactor Block 200 (DRB200) DR 3900 Spectrophotometer subsequently analysis lead (Pb), chromium (Cr), cadmium (Cd), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen (COD), Ammonium (NH 4 -N) Nitrate (NO 3 in lab. Wastewater Treatment Using Horizontal Subsurface Flow Constructed Wetland
The last few decades witnessed sharp focus on environment pollution and its impact on life in nature. Wetlands can be used for biological treatment of wastewater. Problem statement: Scarcity of water is considered as a global problem and Iran is one the countries which is facing water shortage problem. Pollution of water bodies restrict the availability of water for various uses. Treatment of w...
متن کاملEvaluation of the performance of conventional and baffled horizontal subsurface constructed wetland in the removal of Reactive Red 198
Background and Objective: Reactive Red 198 is a mono azo dye widely used in the textile industry of Iran. The toxicity of reactive dyes is higher than other dyes and causes disorders such as irritation, cancer and mutation in humans. The overall objective of this study was to determine the efficiency of a Constructed Wetland pilot system with conventional and baffled horizontal subsurface flow ...

background: natural methods of wastewater treatment, such as wetlands, are simple, cheap and acceptable for developing countries, especially small and remote cities. the aim of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of typha latifolica in subsurface flow constructed wetland for wastewater treatment. methods: in this experimental research, the efficiency of typha latifolica in subsurface flow...
متن کاملReac ve Transport Modeling of Subsurface Flow Constructed Wetlands Using the HYDRUS Wetland Module
Constructed wetlands (CWs) are engineered water treatment systems designed to remove various types of contaminants. A large number of processes simultaneously contribute to water quality improvement in CWs. During the last decade, there has been a wide interest in the understanding of complex “constructed wetland” systems, including the development of numerical process-based models describing t...
متن کاملPerformance of constructed wetland systems treating anerobic effluents.
The purpose of this present paper is to verify the performance of three wetland systems operated with effluents from a UASB reactor, with respect nutrient removal (nitrogen and phosphorus), pathogenic organisms and remaining carbonaceous material, monitored over a three-year period. The experiment was carried out and monitored at PROSAB (Programa de Saneamento Básico) in Campina Grande, Paraíba...
